Privacy and data processing
Testheard handles unpublished audio, scripts, and project context. Trust is part of the product. This page sets out how we process and retain that material.
Confidentiality commitments
- Files are used only to deliver the audit you requested.
- Files are shared only with the personnel assigned to your project.
- Reviewers are contractually bound to confidentiality before receiving any file.
- Content is never used to train models.
- Where practical, we use expiring or access-restricted links rather than open shares.
Retention policy
Our default starting policy, applied unless a project agrees otherwise:
- Working files are retained for 30 days after final delivery.
- Reports are retained as part of your project history unless you request deletion.
- Reviewer copies are deleted at project completion.
- Anonymised operational metrics may be retained to improve the audit methodology.
- Audio or script content is not retained in our internal defect dataset without your permission.
You can request earlier deletion of your files at any time by writing to hello@testheard.com.
Data processing summary
We collect the information you submit through our intake and reviewer application forms, together with the audio, script, and reference material you provide for an audit. This is used solely to qualify, staff, deliver, and follow up on your project. We do not sell or share your data with third parties outside the personnel assigned to your project.
Reviewer access
Reviewers receive individual, minimum-necessary access to project files. We do not use shared passwords or public links. Access is removed once a reviewer's work on a project is complete.
This policy will be refined with proper legal review as Testheard grows. It is not presented as fully compliant with any specific regulatory regime.
